Over the last few months, many of you have been chatting to us about your thoughts and frustrations on the parking issue at The Village.  And it has been clear that there is no place for you to voice these thoughts.

We are super-excited to be hosting Ard Matthews of famed South African band, Just Jinger.  He will be performing on Saturday the 7^th of April after 4pm.  Seated tickets inside café Roux are R130.  We will also be selling tickets on the grass area for R60.  Café Roux food & drinks will be available.

With the Argus cycle tour on Sunday, we are expecting a great weekend.  Kicking off with BRAAI NIGHT on Friday – Cape Tonian Jeremy Olivier will be performing at cafe Roux for the first time. An acomplished musician, he has performed with Johnny Clegg, Judith Sephuma & George Benson to name a few.  He is currently getting a lot of air play on KFM so we are really looking forward to hearing him!

We will be running our carbo-loading pasta special for Friday lunch, Friday Braai Night & Saturday lunch.  Choose between Tagliatelle Carbonara, hearty Spaghetti Bolognaise & a vegetarian Penne with Butternut & Spinach.

Sunday's Argus day is always a festive one.  We will be selling take-away coffees, sandwiches & muffins along the walkway next to the playground as you make your way to the road. Me & Mr Brown will be doing their thing Sunday afternoon….

As lead singer of famed Springbok Nude Girls, Arno has toured with the likes of U2, The Rolling Stones, The Police & Meatloaf.  He has released 9 studio albums to date and 18 top ten singles.  Based in Cape Town & London, he is currently working on his 4^th album to be released early this year.

Albert Frost has been rocking the Blues for two decades, making a name for himself in the early 90’s as the guitarist for the seminal band the Blues Broers.  He is an all-round master guitarist and has performed & recorded with some of the world’s best musicians – Vusi Mahlasela, Koos Kombuis, Valiant Swart. He has shared stages with The Rolling Stones, R.E.M. & Bruce Springsteen.
